PANGEA is a Contemporary World Music Concept Band in America, formed by Hollywood multi-instrumentalist Hong Wang from the 2014 Emmy Award winning soundtrack of The Legend of Korra, the winner of the 2008 Best Latin Artist of Hollywood Music Media Award Robert Chilingirian, and the 2010 Shanghai International Film Festival Best Asian Talent Nominee Albert Chang, whose original composition “Remembering” was described by the Los Angeles Times as “compelling and deeply artful”. Together blending their own unique musical influence, PANGEA creates original music inspired by true personal stories from all corners around the world. In 2014, Hollywood Music Media Award nominated the song Mongol Matador for Best Song of the Year. Supported by the Nevada Arts Foundation, PANGEA toured to many cities throughout China and appeared on the China Central Television of Jiling Changchung. In December of 2015, the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Suzhou presented PANGEA as the Official Envoy of Cultural Exchange between China and the United States.
